What makes an Aura ring a halo design?

Aura places a ring of smaller diamonds around the centre stone. That surrounding halo follows and emphasises the centre outline rather than forming the main stone itself. Diamond-set shoulders may add further detail on some designs, but it is the surrounding halo that defines the Aura family.
