Eternity rings, in your style
From delicate sparkle to sleek metal lines, the way stones are set gives an eternity ring its character. Full, half and three-quarter describe how far the stones continue around the band; the setting shapes the look.
Closely set stones create a richly sparkling surface, held by fine beads of metal.
Fine, closely set stone detail creates a delicate shimmer and an elegant, refined look.
Fine claws hold each stone in view, giving diamonds or coloured gemstones a bright, open look.
A line of stones sits between clean metal edges for a smooth, structured look.
Stones sit flush within the band, creating discreet points of brilliance against the metal.
Smooth rims of precious metal frame each stone, creating a clean outline and a flowing, contemporary look.

Simple by design. Personal in every detail.
A beautifully simple band is all about proportion and feel. Choose from four distinct cross sections — Pro B, Pro C, Pro D and Pro E — each with a comfort-fit interior, in widths from 2–6mm. Try them in person to discover the profile that feels right on your hand.
Clean lines and a flat outer surface create a crisp, contemporary look.

A softly textured surface for a quieter, understated look.
Classic wedding bands can be embellished with diamonds or coloured gemstones on the outside or inside of the ring. Choose a visible touch of sparkle, a meaningful birthstone or a discreet stone set inside the band, known only to you.
We’ll help you explore stones, placement and a setting that suits your chosen profile and width, and confirm the design and quotation with you.
Make your wedding ring even more personal with an engraving inside the band. Initials, your wedding date or a short message can turn a simple ring into a quiet reminder of what it means to you.
Ask us about engraving when you choose your ring. We’ll help you explore suitable wording and lettering, and confirm what will fit your chosen band, along with the cost and timing.
Designed around your ring. Made in St Albans.
Your engagement ring deserves a wedding band that feels like it belongs. We design a fitted ring around its individual contours, bringing the two together beautifully while allowing each to retain its own character.
From a subtle curve to an intricate sculpted shape, your ring is designed and made entirely in our large on-site workshop in St Albans. Choose a beautifully plain finish or add diamonds or coloured gemstones for a look that is yours alone.
The engagement ring is shown in grey to reveal how the fitted band follows its shape.
The wharton Workshop
We employ only master goldsmiths in our large on-site workshop. The same goldsmith makes your piece from start to finish, taking personal responsibility for every detail and real pride in the finished ring.
Your fitted wedding ring is created here, in the workshop alongside our showroom, with the care and skill of our own master goldsmiths.
Your jewellery is fully insured while in our care and stays on our premises throughout the work, including your engagement ring when entrusted to us for fitting.
We consider the setting, contours, width and finish together, creating a wedding band that complements your engagement ring and feels right on your hand.

Find your preferred colour
Compare the warmth of gold with cooler white tones. Try them beside your existing rings and ask our team about the practical differences.
The details make it yours
Width, depth and profile all change how a ring looks and feels. Try a choice on your hand and compare it beside your engagement ring. We can discuss straight, shaped or fitted options to suit.
Explore polished or textured finishes, spaced diamonds or a continuous line of stones. For suitable designs, we can also discuss different cuts, coloured gems and a personal engraving.
If you have an idea for a bespoke ring, bring it with you. Our team can explore what is possible, advise on a suitable design and provide a quotation.
Your wedding rings don’t have to match. You can share a metal colour or a small detail while choosing different widths, finishes and styles that suit each of you.
If you have a budget in mind, let us know whether it is for one ring or a pair. We’ll focus on suitable options and explain the complete price.
Budget is optional. Tell us your wedding or anniversary date so we can advise on timing.

Before you begin
Or simply get in touch. We’re here to help you explore.
A wedding ring marks your marriage. An anniversary ring celebrates a milestone and can take many forms. An eternity ring has a continuous or partial line of gemstones and is often chosen for an anniversary, although there is no fixed occasion for giving one.
No. Choose rings that suit your individual tastes and feel comfortable to wear. If you like a connection between them, you could share a metal colour, finish or engraving while choosing different widths and profiles.
It depends on the shape and height of the engagement setting. A straight band may sit neatly beside it, while another ring may suit a shaped or fitted design. Bring your engagement ring with you so we can compare options and check how the settings meet.
The names describe how far the stones continue around the band. Try different styles to compare the appearance, feel and position of the stones. Sizing and future alteration options depend on the individual design; our team will explain these before you choose.
Ask us about alternative finishes, engraving, stone choices or a bespoke design. Options and timing depend on the ring and the work involved. Tell us your wedding or anniversary date early so we can confirm availability and a suitable schedule before you order.
Yes. Follow “View Collection” to browse available rings and their specifications. If you need advice on size, how rings sit together or a personalised option, contact us before ordering. We’ll confirm any separate quotation and lead time.
